Wig testimonials
Over the years we have received so many kind and inspirational words from our clients who we are now proud to call friends. Some of these words have really touched us….
"Having just had my first cycle of chemo, i visited the salon with trepidation to get "the wig". My two daughters came with me for moral support. In the event the experience was thoroughly enjoyable due in large part, to the professional and yet friendly help of Amy. We were able to speak openly and nothing was too much trouble. We came away completely satisfied and both girls remarked on how Amy had been so normal until then I had not really thought about how they might be feeling and therefore how important the salon would be.
Then the cutting..... again i was given immense support and attention so that i could walk out of the salon with confidence, Thank you Julia."

"This would be the second time i have experienced hair loss due to cancer treatment. The first time i was issued with an NHS wig which i cast aside from day one. I decided to indulge myself from following a recommendation from a friend. all the staff were sensitive, knowledgeable but fun with it. I would recommend anyone in a similar position to contact Julia's team as i am sure they will be pleased with the outcome."

"Although hair loss has been devastating during my chemotherapy, Julia and her team enabled me to recover my confidence, and face the world again through my lowest point. They eased me through a traumatic experience with their professionalism, support and sense of fun. They provided expert advice on the right style of wig to suit my face, and essential expert styling which really tailored it to suit me as an individual. All comments from friends and colleagues are that they can not tell it is a wig. I went into the salon feeling very self-conscious, but emerged able to blend happily back into the High Street smiling. I cannot recommend Julia and her team enough, and thank her enormously."

"Found Julia’s salon in the Surrey Advertiser. Went in to have my wig re-styled as am unhappy with shape. Wonderful service, very kind and attentive. I will now be wearing my wig all the time. Many thanks."

"Losing my hair was more traumatic that I had expected. As a woman, your hair is very much part of your identity. I felt labelled as a tragic cancer victim! I was pleased to find Julia in Guildford, it was so easy to get to her salon. I brought a friend and it was with some trepidation that we came in for a wig fitting. I had assumed the wigs would be short, and was amazed at the variety of styles. She had one in stock which was dark like my hair, and with some waves, and I actually kept it longer than my hair had been. It was wonderful being ‘normal’; it gave me options so that I could go out and be quite anonymous. Julia had been a real friend through this time, and has taken a lot of time to help me make it easier. It really did make an enormous difference to me, and she is continuing to advise me as my hair is coming back. THANK YOU!"

"I’ve been really pleased with my wig from Julia. I’ve had so many compliments and feel very confident wearing it. Nothing seems too much trouble for Julia – she makes me feel good about myself and she is warm and welcoming. It’s like meeting an old friend! Thanks Julia – I would recommend you to anyone."

"I came here with great trepidation, but Amy was lovely to me and I actually managed to laugh trying on wigs. Julia was then wonderful to me when it came to the wig cut. I can honestly say that my georgeous wig has stopped me from being miserable throughout chemo I love wearing my wig and I constantly get great comments and my new haircut from those who don't know I have cancer. Thank you a million times for granting me that anonymity. Best wishes to you all and keep up the fabulous work!"
